Project financing: Bees & Bears
Connect Reonic to Bees & Bears or EOS so account managers can hand a signed offer to a financing partner from inside the Portal.
Reonic connects to two financing partners so account managers can hand a signed offer to a lender from inside the Portal: Bees & Bears (available in Germany, Austria, France and Belgium) and EOS (the Brazil financing partner). Both are signature-stage integrations. An admin connects the partner once for the whole company, then account managers trigger the financing export from a signed offer.
Who this is for
- Admins set up the connection in Settings > Company settings > Integrations > Project Financing.
- Account managers trigger the export from the signed-offer screen after an admin gives them the right to.
Before you start
- You need admin rights in your Reonic workspace.
- If the Bees & Bears or EOS row does not appear in Settings > Company settings > Integrations > Project Financing, contact your Reonic account manager.
- For Bees & Bears: request a Company reference from Bees & Bears support. Bees & Bears provisions this value; enter it in Reonic when you connect.
- For EOS: decide whether you already have an EOS account. If you do, have your EOS integrator ID ready to link it. If you don't, have your company details to hand: the create-new form collects your CNPJ (Brazilian company tax number), company name, phone number, and a contact first name, last name, and email. No API key is required either way.
- Bees & Bears serves Germany, Austria, France and Belgium; EOS serves Brazil. Use the partner that matches your market so submitted deals reach the lender.
Set up Bees & Bears
- Open Settings > Company settings > Integrations and scroll to the Project Financing section.
- Click the Bees & Bears row to open the integration drawer.
- In the Company reference field, paste the value supplied by Bees & Bears support.
- Click Connect. Reonic stores the company reference and activates the integration.
- A banner reminds you that only users with a Bees & Bears account can export projects. Open User Settings, pick each user who should be able to trigger exports, and enable the Financing Provider user right.
- Return to the Bees & Bears drawer to confirm the list of users with the right enabled matches your team.
Set up EOS
- Open Settings > Company settings > Integrations and scroll to the Project Financing section.
- Click the EOS row to open the integration drawer.
- The drawer offers two ways to connect. Pick the one that matches your situation:
- Link an existing EOS account — choose this if you already have an EOS account (the prompt reads "Connect by entering your existing EOS ID."). Enter your EOS integrator ID and confirm. Choose this path if you onboarded with EOS directly, so you link your existing account instead of opening a second one.
- Create and link a new EOS account — choose this if you don't yet have an EOS account (the prompt reads "Create and link a new EOS account."). Fill in Tax number (CNPJ), Company name, Phone number, First name, Last name, and Email. There is no API key to enter.
- Click Connect. Reonic stores your company reference and activates the integration.
- The connection covers your whole company. Once it's live, every user with access to the offer can trigger the export.
Set the rate and term on a Bees & Bears variant
The rate and term length live on the financing variant itself. The Settings > Company settings > Integrations > Project Financing panel stores only the connection details.
- After an admin has connected Bees & Bears, open an existing offer.
- Go to the Financing tab and click Create financing variant under the Bees & Bears banner.
- Fill in the form: Total amount incl. VAT, VAT amount, an optional Down payment, and the Runtime (term length in years). Bees & Bears computes the rate (APR) and the resulting monthly instalment from those inputs. You do not enter a monthly rate, there is no balloon-payment option, and the APR is set by Bees & Bears from their own terms.
Editing the variant's bill of materials after the form is filled recomputes the monthly rate and total interest, so review the financing numbers after each change before sending the offer for signature.
For EOS, you fill in a customer-info form instead. EOS reviews the deal and replies with the terms.
Note: If a customer asks about adjusting the rate or term on a 3D planning surface, point them to the financing variant on the offer. The planning view does not carry these parameters.
Send a signed offer to the financing partner
- Open a signed offer in the Portal.
- Click Send to Bees & Bears or Send to EOS in the finalisation view.
- If the offer option holds more than one financing alternative, the Send to Bees & Bears export shows a chooser: pick which alternative to send and set the payment-priority order across them. With a single alternative there's nothing to choose. (EOS exports the offer's customer data and doesn't show this chooser.)
- Watch for the success notification. A row appears in Settings > Company settings > Integrations.
Note: You trigger the export yourself from the offer screen when you're ready. Status updates from the partner appear on the offer or request view.
Things to know
- Financing runs through a partner. Reonic hands the signed offer to Bees & Bears or EOS, and the partner runs the credit decision and reports the status back. Connect one of the two integrations to offer instalment plans to a customer.
- Both integrations act on a signed offer. A record reaches Bees & Bears or EOS once the customer has signed.
- An offer option can hold several financing alternatives. One option can carry provider-backed (Bees & Bears or EOS) and plain payment alternatives side by side. When you export to Bees & Bears, you pick which alternative to send and set the payment-priority order.
- The Bees & Bears export needs the Financing Provider right. Set up the company connection, and give each account manager who should export the Financing Provider user right. For EOS, the company connection is enough for any user with access to the offer.
- EOS has two connect paths, both leading to the same active state. Link an existing EOS account (enter your existing integrator ID) and Create and link a new EOS account (fill the company-detail form) both activate the integration. Use link existing if you already onboarded with EOS directly, so you link your account instead of opening a second one.
- Status updates flow back to Reonic. Once an offer has been exported, the partner's decision updates appear on the offer or request view.
- Change your connection details by disconnecting and reconnecting. To update the EOS company details or the Bees & Bears company reference, click Disconnect and connect again with the new values. Do this during a quiet period so you don't interrupt an in-progress export.
- Bees & Bears and EOS are for residential deals. For a commercial project, record the financing outside Reonic and reference it in the project notes.
