Reonic

Connect HubSpot

Wire HubSpot to Reonic so every new request appears in HubSpot automatically, without re-keying anything.

Connect HubSpot once under Settings > Company settings > Integrations, and each new request you create in Reonic shows up in HubSpot as a deal. After setup, the sync runs on its own.

This guide assumes you have admin rights in Reonic. Account managers see the result of this connector (a new request shows up as a deal in HubSpot); the setup itself is an admin task.

Before you connect

  • You need an admin user on the HubSpot side with permission to grant the connection.
  • Have your HubSpot Pipeline ID(s) ready. The integration starts working once they're saved.
  • HubSpot is available in all regions.

Find the integrations page

  1. Click Settings in the Portal.
  2. Open Company settings > Integrations.
  3. Find the HubSpot row, with its Connected / Not connected status and a Connect button.

Connect HubSpot

  1. Open the HubSpot row and click Connect.
  2. You're redirected to HubSpot's sign-in and permission screen. Sign in as a HubSpot admin and grant the requested access.
  3. On return, Reonic stores the connection and keeps it signed in for you.
  4. Set your pipeline IDs. Paste your residential pipeline ID into the residential pipeline field. A pipeline ID is the 24-character value from HubSpot Settings > Sales > Pipelines (copy it from the pipeline's URL). If you also do commercial work, paste your commercial pipeline ID into the commercial pipeline field; leave it blank otherwise.
  5. Save. Reonic checks the IDs, and an invalid ID shows an error and keeps the sync off until you correct it.
  6. To confirm the connection before going live, create a test request (Request > New) and watch the deal appear in HubSpot within seconds.
Pro tip: The sync activates once a valid pipeline ID is saved. Signing in through HubSpot is the first step; saving the pipeline ID is what turns the sync on. Always run the test request to confirm both are in place.

Things to know

  • A deal captures the request as it was at creation. Editing a Reonic request afterwards leaves the HubSpot record as first synced. Update the record in HubSpot directly, or delete and recreate the request, when you need fresh data.
  • The deal appears when you create the request, not when you create an offer. If you're comparing CRM connectors, note the deal lands in HubSpot the moment a request is created.
  • HubSpot starts syncing on connect and stops on disconnect. To rotate credentials, disconnect and reconnect. Expect a brief sync gap while you do.
  • Each sync shows its result. Check Settings > Company settings > Integrations for the success or failure of recent syncs and the reason. This is the first place to look if deals aren't appearing in HubSpot; the usual cause is a missing or invalid pipeline ID.
  • Salesforce connects the same way and syncs requests as Salesforce Leads. Set it up like HubSpot if it's on your integrations list.
  • Import a HubSpot contact when creating work. With HubSpot connected, the New Offer dialog (and New Request / New Installation / New Contact) offers an Import contact from HubSpot option. Search your HubSpot contacts and pick one to pre-fill the customer details (name, address, and more) on the new record.
  • Your HubSpot connection applies only to your own workspace.
