Bexio
When a customer signs an offer in Reonic, send the deal into Bexio as a quote and invoice, so you can trace which Reonic offer became which Bexio record.
Bexio is Reonic's accounting connector for the Swiss market. It works after an offer is signed: you click Send to Bexio on the signed offer's Finalize sidebar, and Reonic creates the quote and/or invoice in Bexio from the offer's line items, prices, tax rates, and customer data.
Who this is for
- Installer admins setting up Bexio for the first time.
- Account managers who want to know what happens to a signed offer after they click Send to Bexio.
- Back-office / bookkeeping roles who need to understand which document fields end up in Bexio after signature.
Before you start
- The offer must be signed before you can send it. Drafts and pending signature requests do not go to Bexio.
- You need admin rights to connect the integration (Settings > Company settings > Integrations). Once it is connected, editor-or-higher roles can send each signed offer.
- Bexio is for the Swiss market and becomes active when you connect it. If the Send to Bexio button is not visible on the Finalize sidebar, the connector is not active for your workspace yet.
- Sending is a manual action: it happens when you click Send to Bexio on the offer's Finalize sidebar after signature.
Find the integrations settings page
- Click Settings in the bottom-left of the Portal.
- Open Settings > Company settings > Integrations.
- You see a list of every connector available for your workspace, grouped into sections.
- Each connector row shows a status (Connected / Not connected) and an action button (Connect / Disconnect).
Pro tip: API and webhook configuration lives under a separate settings category (Settings > API / Developers), not here. The Settings > Company settings > Integrations page is for pre-wired connectors that have their own sign-in flow.
Connect Bexio
- In Bexio, go to Apps > API access and authorise the Reonic app.
- Bexio returns you to Reonic and the connection is stored for you.
- In Reonic, open Settings > Company settings > Integrations and scroll to the Bexio connector row to confirm it shows Connected.
- Optionally set bill mode, header, footer, and intro text.
- Save. The Send to Bexio button now appears on the Finalize sidebar of every signed offer.
Send a signed offer to Bexio
- Open the signed offer in the Portal.
- In the right-hand Finalize sidebar, find the Send to Bexio button.
- Click it. Reonic sends the offer's line items, customer details, and your bill-mode preferences to Bexio.
- The button shows a pending indicator, then updates to Sent with the Bexio record number and a link to open the record.
A single signed offer can land in Bexio as both a quote and an invoice.
Things to know
- Sending happens at signature, not at install completion or invoice issue. If a customer cancels the project after signature, cancel the document in Bexio.
- To change the connection, reconnect. The edit panel has a Disconnect / Cancel button. Disconnect and authorise the Reonic app again from Bexio's Apps > API access.
- If a send fails (for example, Bexio is temporarily unavailable), the button shows the failure. You can safely click Send to Bexio again later.
- Check the connector status when troubleshooting. If you are unsure whether an offer reached Bexio, open Settings > Company settings > Integrations and check the Bexio record link on the offer's Finalize sidebar.
- Bexio works on residential offers today.
