Reonic

Hero

When a customer signs an offer in Reonic, send the deal to Hero as a project record (customer, address, and signed-offer summary) so your install team can pick it up in Hero.

Hero is a field-management tool many installers use as the day-to-day home for their install team after an offer is signed. Reonic connects to Hero so that once an offer is signed, you can hand the deal over as a Hero project with a single click from the offer.

Who this is for

  • Installer admins connecting Hero for the first time.
  • Account managers who want to know what happens to a signed offer after they choose Send to Hero.
  • Field and install teams picking up the signed deal in Hero.

Before you start

  • The offer must be signed before you can send it to Hero. Drafts and pending signature requests cannot be sent.
  • You need the Admin role to connect the integration in Settings > Company settings > Integrations. Once it is connected, users with the Editor role or higher can send a signed offer to Hero.
  • If the Send to Hero button is not on the offer's Finalize sidebar, Hero is not yet connected for your workspace. Connect it first (see below).
  • Sending to Hero is a manual action. It happens when someone chooses Send to Hero on a signed offer.

Find the integrations settings page

  1. Click Settings in the bottom-left of the Portal.
  2. Open Settings > Company settings > Integrations.
  3. You see the connectors available to your workspace.
  4. Each connector shows a status (Connected / Not connected) and an action button (Connect / Disconnect).

Connect Hero

  1. Get a Hero API key from your Hero workspace.
  2. In Reonic, open Settings > Company settings > Integrations, go to the Post offers signature section, and find the Hero connector.
  3. Paste the key and save.
  4. Optionally set how offer fields map across to Hero project fields.
  5. The Send to Hero button now appears on signed offers in the Finalize sidebar.

Send a signed offer to Hero

  1. Open the signed offer in the Portal.
  2. In the right-hand Finalize sidebar, find the Send to Hero button.
  3. Click it. Reonic sends the offer summary, customer, and address to Hero as a new project.
  4. The button updates to Sent.
  5. You can review the result in Settings > Company settings > Integrations.

What gets sent: a Hero project containing the customer, address, and a summary of the signed offer. Depending on your field mapping, the transfer can also include contact details and further project information. If you need to confirm that a specific field travels to Hero, ask your Reonic account manager.

Note: Many installers use Hero as their primary day-to-day project tool. You can hand the signed deal to Hero, keep Hero as the working project record, and use Reonic's installation module for what Hero does not cover.
Note: Financing decisions stay with your financing partner (Bees & Bears or EOS) and appear on the Reonic offer and request view. If you rely on financing details reaching Hero, confirm the mapping with your Reonic account manager first.

Things to know

  • Sending happens at signature, not at install completion. Completing the installation does not re-send the deal.
  • Authentication uses an API key. Get it from your Hero workspace and paste it into the Hero connector card in Reonic.
  • To change the API key, reconnect. Open the Hero connector, choose Disconnect, paste the new key, and reconnect.
  • A single offer can be sent per signature. If an offer is re-signed, each signature creates its own Hero project.
  • Disconnecting hides the button. When you disconnect the Hero connector, the Send to Hero button no longer appears on the Finalize sidebar.
  • If a send does not go through, try again. Should Hero be unreachable when you click Send to Hero, the attempt is recorded and you can click Send to Hero again later.
  • Every attempt is recorded. Successful and failed sends are listed in Settings > Company settings > Integrations.
  • Hero sends work with residential offers.
