K2

K2 is the connector to K2 Systems' K2 Base solar-mounting and structural-planning tool. Once you have connected it, you can push a signed offer's roof data straight into K2 Base.

Who this is for

• Installer admins setting up K2 for the first time.
• Editors (or higher) who want to push a signed offer's roof data into K2 Base.

Before you start

• The offer must be signed before you can send it to K2.
• You need admin rights to connect K2 (Settings > Company settings > Integrations).
• If the K2 row or the Send to K2 button is not showing, K2 is not active in your workspace yet. Contact your Reonic account manager.
• Sending to K2 is a manual step: you click Send to K2 on a signed offer whenever you want to push its data across.

Find the integrations settings page

1. Click Settings in the bottom-left of the Portal.
2. Open Company settings > Integrations.
3. Find the K2 row.

Connect K2

1. Get your K2 sign-in credentials from your K2 workspace administrator.
2. In Reonic, open Settings > Company settings > Integrations and find the K2 row.
3. Sign in to connect your K2 account.

Push a signed offer to K2

1. Open a signed offer and find the Create project in K2 button (it opens a dialog with a Send to K2 action) on the Finalize sidebar.
2. Click it. Reonic prepares the K2 Base import and gives you an import link.
3. Open the link in K2 Base to finish the import.

Note: K2 Base accepts up to 20 roofs per import, so for larger plannings double-check the roof data before you send.

Things to know

• Send to K2 works on a signed offer, so do it once the offer is signed rather than waiting for the install to complete.
• Signing in: get your credentials from your K2 workspace administrator, then sign in on the K2 row to connect.
• You finish the import in K2 Base. After you click Send to K2, Reonic hands you an import link. Open it in K2 Base to complete the import (up to 20 roofs per import).
• Check your push history on Settings > Company settings > Integrations, where each Send to K2 attempt is recorded so you can confirm it went through.
• K2 works with residential offers today.
