Send a signed offer to Hero

Hand a signed offer to Hero as a project record, with customer, address, and offer summary, so your install team can pick it up.

Hero is a field- and project-management tool many installers use as the central record for the install team. Once it's connected, signed offers get a Send to Hero button on the Finalise sidebar.

Note: Send to Hero is available on residential projects, where the export runs at signature. On commercial projects, hand the offer to Hero from your usual project handover.

Before you start

  • The offer must be signed.
  • An admin connects Hero in Settings > Company settings > Integrations > Post offers signature with an API key. See the accounting and project-tools setup guide for the full connection steps.

Send the offer to Hero

  1. Open the signed offer and go to the Finalise tab.
  2. In the actions sidebar, click Send to Hero.
  3. A matching project is created in Hero, carrying the customer, address, and signed-offer summary.
  4. The button updates to Sent, and the offer links to its Hero project.
  5. Confirm the result on the Integrations page (Settings > Company settings > Integrations), where the Hero connector shows its status.

Things to know

  • Hero becomes the install team's source of truth. The pattern is: close the deal in Reonic, hand it to Hero, run the install from Hero. Use Reonic's installation module only for what Hero doesn't cover.
  • One offer at a time. You send each offer to Hero individually, at signature. From there, Hero holds the project for the install team.
  • Sent at signature. Completing the install back in Reonic doesn't send it to Hero again.
