Reonic

Payment Method: Leasing

Offer a component on a lease instead of an outright purchase. One of Reonic's three per-component payment modes, alongside cash purchase and financing.

Leasing is a payment mode you set on a component inside an offer variant. Reonic supports three per-component payment modes: Purchase (cash), Lease, and Financing. Each is set per component, so one variant can keep solar on cash purchase while putting another component on a lease.

Before you start

  • You have an offer with a planned variant.
  • This is a residential flow.
  • If leasing does not appear as a payment mode, contact your Reonic account manager.

Set a component to leasing

  1. Open the offer and select the variant.
  2. Go to the Financing tab.
  3. Set the relevant component's payment mode to Lease rather than cash purchase or financing.
  4. The customer sees the leased component reflected on the offer.
Note: Payment mode is per component. A single variant can mix modes, for example solar on cash purchase and another component on a lease.

Things to know

  • Leasing is one of three payment modes. The full set is cash purchase, financing, and leasing. Cash purchase is the default.
  • Leasing is set per component, not per offer. You decide the payment mode component by component within a variant.
  • Financing and leasing are different paths. Financing is arranged through a lending partner who handles the loan and repayment. Leasing is its own payment mode. Pick the one that matches the deal you're structuring.

Frequently asked

  • What payment methods does Reonic offer on an offer? Cash purchase, financing, and leasing. Each is set per component within a variant, and cash purchase is the default.
