Send a signed offer to K2

K2 is K2 Systems' K2 Base solar-mounting and structural-planning platform. Once K2 is connected for your workspace, every signed offer shows a Create project in K2 button on its Finalize page. Click it to send the offer's data to K2 as a new project. After a successful send, the signed signature row shows a Go to project link that opens the new project in K2.

Note: K2 is available on residential offers only. It does not appear on commercial offers.

Before you start

• The offer must be signed. The Create project in K2 button appears on a signed signature row in Finalize > Signatures.
• An admin connects K2 for your workspace in Settings > Company settings > Integrations > Post offers signature. Each workspace connects to one K2 account.
• When K2 is available in your workspace, the K2 entry appears in Settings > Company settings > Integrations > Post offers signature and signed offers can be sent. If you do not see the K2 entry, contact your Reonic account manager.

Send a signed offer to K2

1. Open the signed offer and go to the Finalize tab.
2. Open the Signatures section and find the signed signature row.
3. Click Create project in K2 on that row (arrow icon and K2 logo).
4. The offer's data is sent to K2 and the project is created there.
5. On success, the row shows a Go to project link. Click it to open the new project in K2.

Pro tip: The Create project in K2 button sends one offer at a time, and you trigger it yourself once the offer is signed. K2 does not send automatically before signature.

Things to know

• The hand-off is the Go to project link. After a successful send, the signed signature row shows a Go to project link. Use it to open the project in K2 and finish your work there.
• If the K2 connection drops or errors, the Create project in K2 button stops appearing on signed offers until an admin reconnects K2 in Settings > Company settings > Integrations > Post offers signature.

Frequently asked

• Why don't I see the Create project in K2 button? Either the offer is not signed yet, or K2 is not connected for your workspace. Check Settings > Company settings > Integrations > Post offers signature for the K2 connection status, or check with your Reonic account manager.
• Where do I finish the project? In K2. Follow the Go to project link that appears on the signed signature row after a successful send.
