Payment Method: Financing – Classic

Classic financing lets you present a financed plan on the offer using display-only fields. You enter the figures you have agreed or expect, and a per-year breakdown appears on the offer PDF. The numbers show the customer the shape of a financed deal. When you want a financing partner to run the credit decision and collect the instalments, use a partner financing variant instead.

Before you start

• You have an offer with a planned variant.
• Classic financing is display-only. It puts a financing breakdown on the offer; it does not connect to a lender or move money.
• This is a residential flow.

Add a classic financing breakdown to a variant

1. Open the offer and select the variant.
2. Go to the Financing tab.
3. Choose the classic financing fields rather than creating a partner financing variant.
4. Enter the figures: the price per year, the down payment, the term in years, and the VAT per year.

The figures appear as a financing breakdown on the offer PDF, so the customer sees the yearly cost.

Note: Classic financing is for showing a plan. To have a financing partner approve and collect the instalments, set up a partner financing variant.

Things to know

• Display-only by design. The classic financing fields fill in the offer's financing breakdown. The customer sees the yearly figures on the offer PDF, and nothing further happens with them.
• Two detail levels. Classic financing offers a simpler and a more detailed form of the breakdown, depending on how much you want to show the customer.
• For partner-underwritten financing, switch flows. A partner financing variant runs the credit decision and handles collection. Classic financing shows the figures only.

Common questions

• Can I add detailed financing information to my offers? Yes. The classic financing fields let you show a yearly rate, down payment, term, and VAT on the offer. For a partner-underwritten plan, use a partner financing variant.
• How do I show financing in an offer for the customer? Add the classic financing breakdown on the Financing tab, or create a partner financing variant. Either way the financed figures appear on the offer the customer sees.
