Planning settings
Set your workspace's default planning mode and find the package, discount, subsidy, and offer-template settings that shape every new planning.
The Planning settings group is the hub for everything that shapes a planning before anyone opens one. Most of the work here lives on dedicated sibling pages. Packages, discounts, subsidies, and the offer template each have their own settings screen. This page covers the one setting that belongs here, then points you to the rest.
To open it, go to Settings → Planning & offer → Planning.
Set your workspace's default planning mode
Your workspace has a default planning mode, the mode a new planning starts in. There are three:
- Quick planning — fastest, least detailed.
- 2D Planning — drawn layout without the 3D model.
- 3D Planning — full 3D roof model.
- On the Planning page, choose the default solar planning mode for your workspace under the Default solar planning mode section. New plannings will start in this mode.
- This page also holds the standard components VAT setting, applied to standard components across your plannings.
Note: The default mode is a starting point, not a lock. Users can still switch a given planning to another mode.
Where the rest of the planning settings live
The other Planning & offer settings each have their own page under Settings → Planning & offer:
- Planning templates — predefined component bundles, planning packages, and planning templates.
- Offer — general offer settings, plus Pages & Design and Legal for how the offer document is structured, styled, and worded.
- Rebate templates — reusable discounts your team can apply to offers.
- Subsidies — predefined subsidies for offers.
Things to know
- The default planning mode and the standard components VAT setting are workspace-wide. They affect every new planning, for every user.
- This page is a hub. The substantive configuration lives on the sibling settings pages listed under Related.
