Lead sources
Define and manage the lead-source labels your team uses to attribute and filter incoming leads by origin.
Lead sources are the labels (like Referral, Facebook Ads, or Website) that record where each lead came from. Each workspace defines its own set of labels. Once defined, those labels drive attribution and filtering across your Requests views.
Lead sources are the labelling and attribution layer. The broker connections that feed leads in live separately under Settings > Company settings > Integrations.
Define your lead sources
- Go to Settings > Lead generation > Lead sources and add the labels your team uses to describe lead origin.
- To retire a label, Archive it (the Archive button on the row, with a confirm step — you can restore it later). Archiving keeps historical leads attributed correctly without breaking past filters; toggle Show archived to see or restore archived sources.
How lead sources get attached
- Energy house variants auto-attribute leads to the matching lead source on submission.
- For a manually created request, pick a lead source from the dropdown after the request is created.
- In your Requests views and dashboards, filter by lead source to slice leads by origin.
Note: A request carries one lead source at most, and it's optional. A lead can have no source attached.
Things to know
- Each workspace maintains its own list of labels.
- Archiving a label retires it from new selection without rewriting history, so old reports and filters stay intact. Archive is the retire control.
