Contact form
Capture leads with a short embeddable inquiry form when the full Energy House funnel is too long for a landing page.
The contact form is the slim, lead-capture alternative to the full Energy House configurator. The Energy House walks a prospect through a multi-step funnel. The contact form is a short inquiry form you embed on your own site to collect a quick lead. Every submission becomes a new request in your Requests inbox, tagged with its own contact-form lead source, ready for your team to pick up. Use it on landing pages where the full Energy House funnel would be too long: it trades depth of captured detail for a lower barrier to submit.
Set up the contact form
- Go to Settings → Lead generation → Contact form.
- Pick the Residential or Commercial tab for the line of business this form should feed, then configure the form on that tab.
- Embed the form on your website the same way you embed the Energy House.
New submissions are assigned to the owner set on the matching Energy House form, so confirm that owner is who you want handling contact-form leads.
What happens when someone submits
- The submission creates a new request tagged with its contact-form lead source.
- The request appears in your Requests inbox and on the Kanban board.
- The prospect automatically receives the welcome email, and your team is automatically notified of the new lead.
- The assigned owner works the lead from the Requests views.
Note: The contact form shares the same intake behaviour as the Energy House, and each submission lands as its own request. If someone submits twice, you get two separate leads, so spot-check the Requests inbox for duplicates.
Things to know
- Contact-form submissions carry their own lead source automatically, so you can filter and report on contact-form leads separately from other origins.
