Sign in to the Portal and the app
Sign in to the Reonic Portal and log in to the Mobile App with the same identity.
You sign in to the Portal through a verification email, then log in to the Mobile App with the same identity. The Mobile App offers a few extra paths: a one-time code by email or WhatsApp, a QR code generated in the Portal, and single sign-on (SSO) for companies that use an identity provider. Every path signs you in as the same user with the same data.
Who this is for
Installer admins, account managers, and field workers who need to reach the Reonic Portal in the browser and the Mobile App on a phone or tablet. The app login paths matter most to field workers and account managers who move between desk and site.
Before you start
- Have access to the email inbox tied to your Reonic account. The Portal sign-in link and the app's email options land there.
- For the Mobile App, install the Reonic app first from the App Store or Play Store.
- For QR login, keep a Portal session open on a nearby computer and allow camera permission on the Mobile App.
- If your company uses SSO, you log in through your identity provider instead of an email link. See the SSO section below.
Sign in to the Portal
- Open reonic.com (or reonic.de) and click Login at the top.
- Enter your email address in the sign-in form.
- Open the confirmation email in your inbox and click Sign in now. The Portal opens and signs you in.
To use a different browser than the one you read email in, copy the sign-in link from the email and paste it there.
Bookmark the Portal
Bookmark portal.reonic.de in your browser so you're back with one click next time. As long as you don't actively log out, you stay signed in. A fresh confirmation email is only needed after a logout.
Pro tip: Stay signed in on your main browser and log out only on shared devices. The email-link flow takes about 30 seconds; over a year that's hours back.
Log out manually
- Click your name in the top-right.
- Choose Logout.
Log in to the Mobile App
The Mobile App offers several paths. Pick whichever fits the moment:
- Email confirmation. Same flow as the Portal: enter your email, confirm the link in your inbox.
- One-time code. Enter your email, then type the short login code. The code arrives by email and WhatsApp, so use whichever reaches you first.
- QR code. Handy when your email inbox isn't set up on your mobile device but you have a Portal session on a nearby computer.
- Sign in through the Portal. A redirect from an open Portal session.
- Single sign-on (SSO). For companies that use an identity provider (see below).
Log in with a one-time code
- On the app login screen, enter your email address and submit.
- The app confirms Login details sent and shows a code-entry field.
- Open the code that arrives by email or WhatsApp and type it into the field.
- Tap Log in with code. You're signed in as the same user.
Note: If the code doesn't arrive, resend the email and WhatsApp message from the same screen, or check your spam folder.
Log in via QR code
This skips the email round-trip when you have a Portal session on a nearby computer.
- In the Portal, click your name in the top-right.
- From the menu, choose the app-login option (next to the Logout button) and load the QR code. The page heading reads Scan to log in to the app.
- Open the Mobile App and tap Scan QR on the login screen.
- On a first scan, allow the camera permission prompt. If you deny it, the app shows Camera permission is required to scan QR codes. Grant it in your phone's Settings, then retry.
- Point the camera at the Portal's QR code. On a clean scan, you're logged in as the same user.
The QR code signs you in as you, so treat it like a password. The on-screen warning Don't show this QR code to anyone else is literal: anyone who scans it logs in as you. If your code stops working, reload the Portal page to generate a fresh one.
If you open the Portal QR page on the same phone or tablet (instead of a separate computer), the page detects the mobile device and shows an Open the app and login button instead. Tap it to hand off straight into the Mobile App, with no camera scan needed.
Single sign-on (SSO)
If your company uses an identity provider, your Reonic account manager assigns your identity provider when your account is set up. When you enter your email on the login screen, the app sends you to your provider's login instead of an email link. You complete the provider login in the system browser, then return to the app signed in. Field workers at SSO-mandated companies log in to mobile this way. If you expect SSO but get the email-code screen, ask your Reonic account manager to confirm your identity provider is assigned to your account.
Things to know
- Same identity everywhere. Portal and Mobile App share one account and one data set. However you log in, you see the same projects, offers, and tasks.
- Sessions persist. Once you're in, the Mobile App keeps you signed in across app restarts. You re-authenticate only after an explicit logout.
- QR is the fastest in-office path. When you're at your desk with a Portal session open, the QR or the same-device hand-off beats waiting for email.
- Keep the QR private. Treat the login QR like a password. Don't screenshot it into a shared chat or show it on a screen-share.
- Switching companies. If you belong to more than one workspace, switch between them in the Portal via the top-right menu. To change workspace on the Mobile App, sign out and sign back in.
