Reonic AI

Use the Reonic AI chat in the Portal to query your data, edit records, plan systems, create offers, document calls, and analyse your business in plain language.

Reonic AI is the assistant inside the Portal. It has access to your workspace data: offers, contacts, components, plannings, and calendars. You ask questions in plain language, and it answers from your live data. You give it instructions, and it carries them out, from editing a record to planning a complete offer with a PDF preview.

What Reonic AI can do

  • Answer questions across all your CRM data, without clicking through filters
  • Edit tasks, offers, contacts, and projects with a single instruction
  • Plan complete offers from your component catalogue, with PDF preview
  • Explain simulation results, for example why an amortisation period is long
  • Build analyses: margins, signed offers, pipeline volume over any period
  • Answer process questions from your internal Wiki

Compared to the WhatsApp Assistant, the Portal chat is the more powerful surface. You can jump from the chat straight into the records it mentions, control results on screen, and handle the more technical work.

Open the chat

Open the chat from the Portal and type your question or instruction. No special syntax is needed. If you do not see the chat in your Portal, contact your Reonic account manager to have it enabled for your workspace.

Ask: get answers from your data

Every question you would normally answer by filtering a board becomes one message:

  • "Which offers did we sign last month?"
  • "Which offers have the highest priority right now?"
  • "Which offers have no assignee and were not touched in the last ten days?"
  • "What data is still missing to plan the heat pump on this project?"

The answers come from your live workspace data, and the chat links the records it mentions, so you can open them directly.

Do: edit records with a command

Instead of opening a record and editing form fields, tell the chat what should change. Create a task for a colleague with a due date, move a project to another status, update a contact, or add a note. The chat confirms what it did, and you can open the record to check.

Plan systems and create offers

Ask for a complete offer, for example a 6 kWp system with storage for a named customer. The chat plans from your component catalogue and looks at how you planned similar systems before, so the result follows your patterns rather than generic defaults. You get a PDF preview of the offer in your own branding directly in the chat, and after checking it you can send it to the customer in one click.

Set up planning packages first

If you maintain planning packages in your settings, the chat suggests and follows them exactly. That makes AI planning faster and keeps parts lists complete, because you defined once what a proper planning looks like.

Note: Always review the planning and the PDF before sending. The chat prepares the offer; the responsibility for what goes to the customer stays with you.

Document calls and notes

Summarise a customer call in the chat, and it files the note on the right project and creates the follow-up tasks with dates. Documentation happens along the way instead of at the end of the day.

Analyse your business

Ask for evaluations that would otherwise mean exporting and building a spreadsheet: total margin over the last twelve months, how many offers were signed and their volume, which components carry the strongest margin, or how many offers each sales colleague is working on. The chat pulls the data together and presents the evaluation, and you can drill further with follow-up questions.

Teach it your rules with the Wiki

Reonic AI reads your internal Wiki. Put your company knowledge there: how storage is dimensioned relative to PV, which inverters pair with which batteries, when optimizers are used, how offer texts are written. Colleagues can then ask the chat process questions, and it answers from your own documentation.

The same rules power project validation. Run the validation on a project, and it checks the planning against your configured rules, for example system size, shading, stringing, and storage dimensioning, and lists every issue it finds per variant.

Permissions and data access

The chat carries your Reonic permissions over completely. Admin, editor, and individual rights apply in the chat exactly as in the rest of the Portal. A user without access to an area of the software cannot reach that area through the chat either.

Things to know

  • Every answer is based on the data in your workspace. Well-maintained components, planning packages, and Wiki pages directly improve what the chat can do for you.
  • Use the feedback control in the chat when an answer misses. That feedback reaches the Reonic product team directly and drives what gets improved next.
  • For capturing data on the road, use the WhatsApp Assistant. The Portal chat is at its best for planning, analysis, and everything that benefits from a screen.
