Reonic

Overview of the settings menu

Navigate the Reonic settings menu with confidence. Learn where to find user settings, company information, templates, and integrations—organized by category for quick access.

The settings menu is where you configure your personal preferences, company information, and system-wide options. While the menu looks extensive, it's well-organized and you don't need to configure everything at once.

Finding the Settings Menu

There are two ways to access settings in Reonic.

  1. Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar, OR
  2. Click your name at the top of the sidebar and select Settings

How Settings Are Organized

Settings are grouped into logical categories: personal user settings, company settings, general presets and templates, product-specific settings for residential and commercial projects, and system integrations.

Pro tip: Use the search bar at the top of the settings menu to quickly find specific options without scrolling through categories.

Personal User Settings

These settings control your individual user preferences and information.

What you can configure:

  • Profile picture (appears in customer quotes)
  • Name, phone number, and email
  • Notification preferences
  • Calendar synchronization
  • Email inbox connections
  • Google and Microsoft integrations

Calendar and inbox integrations let you sync your external calendars and email with Reonic for seamless scheduling and communication.

Company Settings

Company settings contain business information that appears in quotes and communications.

What you can configure:

  • Company name and contact information
  • Website and homepage URLs
  • Business addresses
  • User management (add and manage team members)
  • Team organization (create and assign teams)

These details ensure professional, accurate information appears on all customer-facing documents.

General Presets and Templates

This section contains reusable templates and default settings that save time on repetitive tasks.

Available templates:

  • VAT presets (default tax rates)
  • Task templates (common project tasks)
  • Planning templates (standard project timelines)
  • File request templates (document collection workflows)

Pro tip: Set up templates once and reuse them across multiple projects to maintain consistency and speed up your workflow.

Residential Settings

These settings apply specifically to residential projects (homeowner installations).

What you can configure:

  • Request settings (how residential inquiries are handled)
  • Offer settings (quote templates and defaults)
  • Installation settings (project management options)
  • Subsidy information (available incentives and rebates)
  • Document templates (PDF layouts for residential quotes)

These settings let you customize the residential customer experience from first contact through installation.

Commercial Settings

Commercial settings mirror residential settings but apply to business and commercial projects.

What you can configure:

  • Commercial request settings
  • Commercial offer settings
  • Commercial installation settings
  • Business-specific document templates
  • Commercial project defaults

Keeping residential and commercial settings separate lets you maintain different workflows and pricing structures for each market segment.

Company-Wide Tools

These settings at the bottom of the menu control system-wide features.

Available options:

  • Company calendars (shared team calendars)
  • Company inboxes (shared email accounts)
  • Mail server configuration
  • Third-party integrations
  • API access
  • Webhooks

Integrations connect Reonic with other software tools your business uses, allowing data to flow automatically between systems.

Pro tip: The integrations section shows all available software partners. If you need technical API access or webhook configuration, you'll find those options here as well.

Using the Search Function

The search bar helps you find specific settings quickly without scrolling through categories.

  1. Click in the search bar at the top of the settings menu
  2. Type keywords related to what you're looking for (e.g., 'VAT', 'calendar', 'template')
  3. Matching settings will appear in the results
  4. Click on a result to jump directly to that setting

Search is especially helpful when you know what you need but aren't sure which category it's in.

Don't Feel Overwhelmed

While the settings menu contains many options, you don't need to configure everything immediately. Most users only need to set up personal profile information, company details, and basic templates.

Other settings can be configured as needed when you're ready to use those features.

What's Next?

Now that you understand how the settings menu is organized, you're ready to set up your personal profile with photo and contact details, add your company information, explore templates that match your workflow, and configure integrations if you use external tools.

Individual guides for specific settings sections are available in the help center when you're ready to dive deeper.
